Objectives of this Role

The Community & Economic Development (CED) Coordinator plays a key role in advancing the Bank’s mission of financial empowerment, small business growth, and inclusive community development. This position combines project coordination, program support, and stakeholder engagement to ensure the smooth execution of CED initiatives. The Coordinator supports executive leadership through project management, reporting, and event coordination while also serving as a trusted liaison to community partners, nonprofits, and small businesses.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing details, building relationships, and contributing to meaningful projects that strengthen communities.

Essential Functions:

Project & Program Coordination

  • Assume day-to-day responsibility for projects and tasks assigned by CED leadership.
  • Coordinate workflow procedures related to pipeline management, CRM, dashboards, and reporting processes.
  • Manage deliverables to executive leadership, board committees, and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, CRA, Commercial/Retail Banking, and other peer groups.

Administrative Support

o Manage calendars, appointments, and meeting logistics for CED leadership.

o Prepare agendas, reports, correspondence, and presentations.

o Maintain accurate and confidential files, databases, and records.

Community Engagement & Event Coordination

o Provide logistical and administrative support for financial education programs, workshops, and community events.

o Manage RSVPs, invitations, promotional materials, and event communications.

o Provide on-site support and coordination to ensure successful program execution.

Grant, Reporting & Compliance Support

o Assist with data tracking and reporting on community investments, charitable giving, and grants.

o Compile information for dashboards, board packets, and compliance reports.

o Support the CRA/Compliance team to ensure accurate and timely submissions.

Partner & Stakeholder Engagement

o Serve as a reliable point of contact for community partners, nonprofits, and small businesses.

o Draft and distribute correspondence, program updates, and follow-up communications.

o Support relationship management and high-touch service for internal and external stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

 

  • Strong administrative, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); CRM/database experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with community partners, nonprofits, and public officials.
  • Knowledge of community development, nonprofit operations, or economic development (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Communications, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior administrative support experience required; community or nonprofit experience strongly preferred.

• Hybrid/remote-friendly role, with flexibility to support executive needs.

• Must have reliable transportation for attending off-site meetings and events as needed.

• Occasional evening work required for community and leadership events.

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods when needed
