Essential Functions

  • Client Engagement: Act as the primary contact for clients, delivering personalized and exceptional customer service. Proactively greet clients, provide a warm and welcoming environment, and engage in value base conversations.
  • ITM Technology Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our ITM machines, their functionalities, and how they enhance the client experience. Stay updated on the latest features, updates, and advancements in ITM technology to effectively assist and educate clients. Educate clients on the benefits, convenience, and security features of using ITM machines. Demonstrate the ease of use and explain how the technology aligns with their financial goals.
  • Consultive Support:  Understand each customer’s financial goals and provide consultative advice to help them achieve their goals.  Offer personalized recommendations and solutions tailored to their individual needs. ICS will be responsible for assisting with account opening and account maintenance including completion of consumer loan applications. 
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot any technical issues or challenges clients may encounter while using ITM machines while supporting and promoting digital banking with knowledge of all online and app-based banking solutions.  
  • Client Education: Educate clients on the benefits, convenience, and security features of using ITM machines. Demonstrate the ease of use and explain how the technology aligns with their financial goals. Assist in leading financial education courses aimed at improving the community understanding of finances and ways of achieving their financial goals. Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance clients’ proficiency in all things banking.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and foster long-term relationships with clients by understanding their financial needs and providing exceptional service. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the client experience and promote additional financial products and services using contact management methodology to build and retain relationships.
  • Customer Referrals: Connect customers to experienced banking partners when appropriate to ensure that customers can accomplish all their financial needs within Midwest BankCentre.

Through specific on-going training, you will gain knowledge of and adhere to BSA, USA Patriot Act, AML, obtain and maintain NMLS and Notary Public. The employee must maintain awareness of and adherence to Bank’s compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks.

Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • A minimum of two years bank customer contact or retail sales experience
  • Strong passion for technology and a keen interest in innovative banking solutions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage clients effectively.
  • Proficiency in using ITM machines or similar self-service kiosks is an advantage.
  • Technologically savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and software.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work during non-traditional banking hours, including weekends and evenings, as per business needs.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

 

Working Conditions

Willing and able to travel to other locations/branches. Willing and able to work required overtime. This position is hourly and full time. Generally, the position will require 40 hours per week. Evenings and weekends may be required as necessary.
