The Chief of Staff will lead enterprise-level priorities—particularly around strategic capital initiatives, mission-aligned deposit growth, and the cross-sector execution of high-impact efforts—with a blend of strategic insight, operational rigor, and relational fluency. This role demands a systems-oriented leader who brings clarity to complexity, designs scalable workflows around the CEO, and drives measurable results across both internal departments and external partnerships.

Objectives of the Role

  • Advance strategic capital initiatives and support investor and partner engagement
  • Lead mission-aligned deposit growth by activating values-driven networks and institutional partnerships
  • Project-manage strategic initiatives from the CEO’s office (e.g., market entry, strategic partnerships, opportunity analysis)
  • Provide internal leverage for the CEO: streamline communication, lead executive preparation, and remove execution roadblocks
  • Drive organizational alignment through OKR tracking, dashboards, and structured feedback loops

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Capital Support

  • Coordinate investor and partner communications, including materials, data access, and follow-up workflows
  • Lead internal diligence preparation and support cross-functional collaboration during transactions and evaluations
  • Identify and support structured capital opportunities with values-aligned institutions and funding partners

2. Strategic Initiative Execution

  • Project manage top CEO-led priorities across internal departments and external strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment, momentum, and measurable outcomes
  • Maintain visibility into progress, anticipate risks, and troubleshoot bottlenecks
  • Develop and manage an executive-level dashboard to track initiative performance, key indicators, and risk signals

3. Mission-Aligned Deposit Growth

  • Cultivate and engage relationships with institutional, community, and philanthropic partners to attract stable, values-driven deposits
  • Translate the bank’s mission into compelling financial proposals and stakeholder communications

4. Executive Office Optimization

  • Serve as the central integrator of communication, priorities, and strategic initiatives for the CEO
  • Prioritize incoming requests and opportunities based on mission alignment and strategic impact
  • Lead planning and coordination for executive retreats, board preparation, and other key CEO engagements
